Who is Mihri Hanım?

I know many people don't know about her - even Turkish people - but I think I can say she was the first Turkish woman painter in the modern period. Therefore, she was very important to me. It's not the only reason she was important. She painted many portraits with her own style.

I'd like to show just one painting of her as you see above. I think it is enough to tell lots of things about her.
